We have recently returned from a 1 week sailing holiday with Rick, and it has been one of the best holidays we've had in years! We shared the week with an amazing couple, with them and the experience, skills and knowledge from Rick, we learnt so much, saw so many beautiful, isolated areas and fell in love with Corfu. There was no stress, no worries, just stunning tavernas, crystal clear water's, dolphins, local food and a relaxed atmosphere throughout. We saw so much in one week and felt like we had truly relaxed, Thankyou Rick, we will be seeing you again very soon. X

Could not have imagined a more perfect week. Would recommend a million times over. The itinerary was exceptional and Rick was so easy to talk to and helped make our son’s 6th birthday extra special. He even gave lots of much needed tips and guidance for our boat back home.

Just back from an idyllic week sailing with Rick in the Ionian. He couldn't have organised it better - great sailing, great food and great company. As skipper of my own boat in the Uk it was brilliant to let someone else do the thinking and just relax and enjoy the sailing. Ricks restaurant choice were amazing ( we are foodies and know what we are talking about🤣) and he took us to places we would never have found if we hadn't chartered with a skipper. I would happily recommend Sail Blue Planet for sailors and non sailors alike - it was a week all the family enjoyed and hope to do again.

If you are looking for a hands on experience this one is definitely for you! My husband and I, with our two children (18 + 19) have had the best week sailing around Greece, the kids and my husband got fully involved in the sailing process whilst I watched on. Captain Rick has a fantastic sense of humour and offers a fun packed sailing week teaching you all the do’s and dont’s of sea life. Rick has extensive knowledge of the area and took us to all the best places. We visited lots of fabulous tavernas and the food was equally absolutely incredible in all of them. On the first night we visited a taverna by the marina which was lovely and had a lovely local feel to it, our personal favourites were a restaurant in an island which Rick names Paradise Bay, Toulas was lovely and Erimitis was exquisite. We’ve visited many beaches and swimming areas which were all lovely and had tavernas or somewhere to get a drink. It was so great to be able to jump off the boat to cool down and having the option to swim in from the boat for meals was a massive hit, of course there was always the dingy if we chose not to. We’ve really enjoyed hearing the stories Rick had to tell from his music career, he really has lived life and we loved hearing all about it. Visiting mid July, and during a heat wave, it was extremely warm however Rick provided us with great fans which made such a difference and made sleeping much easier. Ricks partner, Sonia, makes the best cup of tea and is a pleasure to be around. She is always busying herself tidying up and making you feel comfortable. I would not hesitate to book again, we had an incredible week and have made memories which will last a lifetime time.

Wow, amazing, fantastic, superb cannot describe the week we’ve had with Captain Rick aboard Blue Planet. This adventure has truly exceeded expectations and I cannot recommend highly enough….and that’s coming from someone terrified of water. We’ve been to some amazing places and eaten in exceptional restaurants. If you’re thinking of a learn to sail experience or just time on the water, make sure you book with Captain Rick, you won’t regret it! Very sad to be leaving today but no doubt we’ll be back 🛥️🇬🇷 Wendy & James.

We had a lovely trip around Corfu with the kids. The weather was great, the food delicious, fab destinations and lovely company all the way. Rock on Captain Rick!!

We had a wonderful sailing trip with Captain Rick. He was friendly, easy to hang out with, and even taught us a bit about sailing along the way. What we really appreciated was how involved he kept us in the plans. When the weather meant adjustments were needed, he always consulted us and made sure we were happy with the route. He also took us to some beautiful spots off the beaten path that we never would have found otherwise. The whole trip felt like a perfect little getaway with just the right amount of adventure. The boat was comfortable, the atmosphere relaxed, and overall it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing time with captain Rick. We visited some stunning spots and lovely tavernas on Corfu and Paxos Captain Rick took excellent care of us even when a thunderstorm hit. I've already recommended SailBluePlanet to friends and hope to return myself.

We had had a wonderful time sailing on Blue Planet with Captain Rick and Sonya who took excellent care of us throughout the week. Captain Rick has excellent local knowledge from many years experience sailing this area. We visited lots of lovely spots, anchorages and restaurants where we enjoyed swimming sundowners and eating local food in beautiful surroundings.

We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain Rick. Really recommend this experience. We ate amazing food, amazing swimming spots and great company. I would definitely book again and I’m recommending to all my friends!

Oh my goodness, have been sailing with Rick on Blue Planet 3 times and it never disappoints. Beautiful scenery, fantastic swimming, great company, he always chooses great places to eat in the evenings and I have learnt so much about sailing. If you're like me and don't like boring holidays try sailing Blue Planet fantastic value for money!!

Wonderful week sailing with Capt Rick on Blue Planet along the east coast of Corfu, Paxos and the west coast of the mainland. Capt. Rick takes you to all the best spots for swimming, sailing & eating. As guests of Capt Rick we always got great tables in the restaurants at the water's edge too. If you are looking for a unique sailing experience in Greece and don't want to do the flotilla thing, then this is the holiday for you. Highly recommended.

I’ve sailed with Rick twice, once to do my competent crew in Italy, and the a second time in Corfu for my day skipper and a holiday, it was a real pleasure to spend the week with him and he is a great teacher. For those who like to eat well, Captain Rick knows all of the finest places to dine!

What can I say?? Thank YOU sooooo much for giving us all the most wonderful week. Literally every day was just brilliant. Thank you for a such a great week of sailing on your lovely Blue Planet around Corfu. Highlights - great sailing, great locations, great company, great stories, great swimming, great food and of course the lovely Blue Planet! You chose wonderful locations around Corfu, and in a week of light winds, you found and made the most of every last breath of breeze! We enjoyed good food, good company, good sailing and swimming. Wonderful stories and all to the backdrop of great music playlists! Your instruction was very positive and encouraging - anchoring under sail (with other boats there )and lots of manoeuvring practice under engine and sail was very good for building my confidence and exactly what I needed! We had the most amazing adventure this summer. The whole family (myself, my husband and our 10 year old son) loved our week on the water. We thoroughly recommend Captain Rick and Sailblueplanet, magical destinations, expert sailing tuition, our son now knows all the knots and can plot a course! Rick planned our week taking into account not only our preferences as a family, but obviously in tandem with the sailing conditions. Not only does Rick know the most incredible swimming spots and evening restaurants, we also enjoyed a great balance of secluded harbours and those with more to offer of an evening. We cannot wait to return.

This was my fourth sailing holiday with Rick so obviously I am a very satisfied customer. As well as great sailing instruction and a well equipped boat, Rick has a great deal of local knowledge and always finds the best routes to sail and places to moor up/anchor for the night. He also appears to know a lot of people locally so we always get a friendly welcome and great service at local restaurants/bars if we are with him. Highly recommended!

Such an incredible experience! A week is definitely not long enough, too many places to see and things to do to fit in one week, so recommend doing 2 weeks if possible, it will be worth it. We felt at home on the boat and learnt a lot about sailng! Captin Rick is very well known in the area so we always had the best docking spaces and almost felt like locals! We were treated with extra care by the local resturants when they knew with were with Captin Rick. Hopefully not our last trip with sail blue planet. We had loads of fun!

Captain Rick did a great job of gauging the balance, we wanted, between a leisurely holiday experience and informal sailing instruction to get me to day skipper level. He also tailored the overnight stops to the type of locations we preferred, which was a mixture of deserted coves and lively harbours. A truly unique holiday.
